This week - as for the last couple of weeks - our main work on the product has been rebuilding how our EQAI-coach creates recommended runs. We’ve spent a lot of time hitting the big “regenerate” button to experiment with all the many states a runner can be in. And it looks to be working. Our next step now is to test the 10 million+ states that a runner can be in and validate that the EQAI-coach is giving useful and usable recommendations.
This week is the first week since launch where I’m not able to give a long list of bugs that we’ve fixed and new features that we’ve released. We’ve ended up snarled within the generator for longer than expected. It’s frustrating for us as a small team that we have been able to keep both plates spinning but we know that getting a more stable process of recommending runs allows us to do some very exciting things for the next iterations of Byrd.
Above is just a small example of those changes where we’ll be bringing the interactions with the guide, and the virtual world that your running’s building, closer together. Watch this space for more details on that in the coming weeks.
